Mysterious street artist Escif has painted a building-sized light switch on the side of an apartment block in Katowice, Poland.
He used a clever trompe l’oeil painting technique to make the button appear three-dimensional when viewed from a certain angle.

A “supermoon” graced the skies over the Bank Holiday weekend, the closest and therefore the biggest and brightest full moon of the year.
The phenomenon, known as a perigee full moon, can cause higher tides as it reaches its closest point to Earth.

Due to the moon’s egg-shaped orbit, the moon is at perigee - its closest approach to Earth about once a month.
The term “supermoon” was coined in 1979 to describe a full moon that coincides with perigee.
At its closest on May 06, 2012, the moon was 356,955 kilometers from our planet.
(Apogee, when the moon is farthest from us, also occurs on a roughly monthly schedule.)
